Account Freezing
Rtree Finance reserves the right to freeze accounts in specific circumstances as per compliance requirements and regulatory obligations. A freeze restricts users from all platform-related operations. Situations warranting account freezing include:
Verification Issues: Accounts may be frozen if users fail KYC verification, submit incorrect or fraudulent information, or have pending identity verification.
AML and Risk Management Requirements: Accounts flagged as high-risk or involved in suspicious activities are subject to further review, potentially leading to a freeze.
User Misconduct: Accounts may be frozen during investigations of user actions that violate platform terms or potentially harm the platform or other users.
Legal or Regulatory Requests: Account freezes are executed upon request from law enforcement, court orders, or regulatory authorities.
Users with frozen accounts may contact the compliance department to resolve the matter. Account freezes will be lifted as soon as legally and procedurally possible following verification and compliance with platform policies.
