Know Your Customer (KYC)
Rtree Finance implements stringent KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures for all lenders and borrowers to ensure compliance and transaction security. To complete identity verification, users are required to provide the following:
For Legal Entities:
Company name
registration country
articles of incorporation
list of directors and officers
business ID
registered address
and identification for beneficial owners, if applicable.
For Individuals:
Proof of address
government-issued ID
personal contact information
and social security or tax ID, if applicable.
Qualified investor status may be demonstrated through account statements or cryptocurrency wallet holdings.
Each submission undergoes standardized screening and sanctions checks, followed by review by the compliance team. Upon KYC approval, users must provide a wallet address for storing platform tokens. Wallet addresses are scanned by KYT (Know Your Transaction) systems to identify potential risks. Wallets flagged for risk, including those interacting with high-risk counterparties, are restricted from access.
Following KYC approval, users must review and sign the service agreement before accessing platform-authorized projects and products.
